As a result, BD leads the industry with its Dodge Cummins and GM Duramax turbo systems and is on a continual quest to develop more innovative turbo applications.

Designed in a joint engineering effort between BD Diesel Performance and BorgWarner Turbo Systems’ AirWerks program, these turbo systems for the 5.9 liter Cummins engine flow enough air for racing applications, yet are responsive and durable enough for street and heavy towing applications. Plus, they’re backed by a one year factory warranty!

Featuring BorgWarner’s unique Extended Tip compressor wheel technology and low inertia, full-floating journal bearings, these turbos utilize BD’s unique dual-volute turbine housing. This proven design utilizes low rpm exhaust pulses for improved turbine response, while the dual-action waste gate bleeds off turbine drive pressure from both volutes. BD's turbo systems also feature a heavy-duty waste gate actuator that prevents pre-mature opening caused by high exhaust pressure. You can even fine-tune your BD/AirWerks turbo for ambient temperature and barometric pressure changes using BD’s adjustable waste gate control.

The Super B Special turbo kit bridges the performance gap between the Super B turbo and the Super B twin system.
Flowing an amazing 80 lbs. of air per minute (compared to 61 lbs/minute for the Super B), the Super B Special is perfect for late-model Cummins common-rail or modified 12-valve engines and can deliver enough air for 375-525 rear wheel horsepower on diesels only.
Add the larger BD Diesel Cool-It intercooler and a shot of nitrous oxide, and the Special will produce even higher power levels with adequate fuel delivery.
Kit includes down pipe, clamps, and adjustable wastegate.

This 16cm non-wastegated, dual throat housing replaces the 18cm and 21cm housings on the 1988-1993 Dodge 5.9L Cummins engine, giving faster turbo spool-up, quicker throttle reponse, and higher top end boost levels.

Take your Duramax to the next level with BD’s SuperMax turbo system. Using the BD/AirWerks S300 turbo, the SuperMax creates enough airflow for up to 550 rear wheel horsepower (rwhp), at 40 lbs. of boost on diesel only. The unique BD/AirWerks compressor wheel creates quicker spool up, while greater overall efficiency lowers exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs), reduces exhaust emissions, and improves fuel economy over the stock turbo system. A six-pad thrust bearing and a revised oiling system vastly increases reliability.

BD Diesel adjustable Waste Gate Kits keep the bypass valve closed, raising boost levels for increased performance and helping to prevent waste gate “creep.” These kits include stainless steel brackets and a high temperature resistant Nomex diaphragm with a heavier spring and locking jam nut for precise boost pressure settings.

Adjustable Turbo Waste Gate Turnbuckles take all the hassle out of adjusting your performance waste gate.
With a BD Turnbuckle, you can now leave the waste gate attached to the turbo and simple place your wrench on the shaft of the buckle and increase or decrease the amount of throw in seconds.
The Turbo Waste Gate Turnbuckle is now attached to all BD perfomance turbos and waste gate kits, but if you have an earlier BD kit or other aftermarket turbos, the Turnbuckle makes waste gate adjustments a dream.

Get more performance out of your electronically-controlled engine by plugging in one of BD Diesel's Electronic Boost Builders. Installed in-line with the MAP sensor, the Electronic Boost Builder increases boost pressure and intercepts the message to the ECM, preventing it from setting an overboost trouble code that can cost between 50-80 horsepower. BD’s Boost Builders are a perfect match for engines with power module, injector, or turbo enhancements.

The BorgWarner-designed replacement compressor wheels for the stock turbochargers on 1999.5-2003 are 7.3L Power Strokes that eliminate the compressor surge that is common for these applications.
By also offering more airflow at upper boost levels, this upgrade breathes new life to your stock turbo and allows for more efficient output when using mild power, increasing modules and tuners.

Shutting your engine down after a heavy haul when the exhaust gas temperature (EGT) is above normal can result in turbo bearing damage, but now you can protect your turbo with BD’s Cool Down Timer (CDT). The CDT works with any K-Type EGT probe commonly found in most pyrometer gauge kits and has an adjustable shut down temperature setting, five-minute timeout, and quick shut down functions. The new design of the CDT adds increased troubleshooting ability and new installation features, plus the ability to work with vehicle security alarms and reduce regeneration of the DPF on 2008-up vehicles.

This new advanced TurboGuard kit features adjustable valve opening pressure and a microprocessor with six different custom settings including valve opening pressure, activation sensitivity, clutch cancellation, and more.

The new BD Diesel CrankCase Vent Filter Kit for Ford 6.0 and 7.3-liter Power Stroke applications reduces crankcase oil vapor that passes through the crankcase vent and contaminates the intake system. Oil Vapor residue reduces turbocharger and intercooler efficiency and also deteriorates the silicone boots, causing them to balloon and blow off.
